Information on data protection

Your data is safe with the Witzenmann GmbH!

The protection of your privacy has a significant value in our business process. Through technical and organizational security measures, we make sure that your data is secured:

•    from accidental and willful manipulation,
•    from loss and damage and
•    from unauthorized access.

Of course, you can rely on the fact, that our security measures are continuously adapted to technological developments. 

Your data will only be used for the purpose of processing your online application and for anonymized statistics. If your application is successful, the data and files you have provided can be further processed and used by Witzenmann GmbH for employment purposes. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b EU GDPR in conjunction with sect. 26 para. 1 cl. 1 Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). Please note that handling your application is only possible if you filled in the information marked as mandatory. 

Automated anonymization of your data
If your application for a job offer is not successful, Witzenmann GmbH saves the transmitted data for six months in its applicant database in order to comply with legal regulations and particularly the obligation to produce supporting documents according to the General Act on Equal Treatment (German abbreviation: AGG). After six months, your data will be anonymized and your files will be deleted in the respective application process.

Your created candidate profile and the data and files stored there, can still be viewed by the recruiters using the candidate search, as long as you actively log into your candidate profile. Six months after your last active login to your candidate profile, theses data and files will be anonymized as well. Two weeks before the anonymization of your candidate profile, you will receive an email notification of the upcoming anonymization with the possibility of preventing this by logging in.
 
Delete your profile early 
You can withdraw your application at any time. Withdrawal of the application also leads to anonymization of your data and deletion of files in the respective application process after six months. After you have successfully withdrawn your application, you can anonymize your candidate profile at any time by deleting your candidate profile.

Option: CareerCenter
We also offer you the option of registering in our CareerCenter for matching with vacant positions in the future. In that case, your name, email address and other uploaded files (e.g. cover letter, CV) will be processed. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR), which you can revoke at any time at wi@witzenmann.de.

If you decide to participate in our CareerCenter, your data will also be stored and processed in accordance with the above provisions and anonymized after 6 months in the event of inactivity.

Your information is exclusively used in-house and will not be handed to third parties. As part of the application process, we are supported by the service provider SAP SuccessFactors, with whom the data security agreement has been concluded. As far as a transmission to third countries outside the EU / EEA happens, we take the possible and necessary measures corresponding to Art. 44 ff. EU GDPR to establish an appropriate level of data protection in the third country. 

Under legal conditions you have the right of information, right to rectification, right to deletion, right to restriction, right to object as well as the right to data portability. To assert these rights, please contact “wi@witzenmann.com”. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
